Hi, I’m Lesley Qi, a graphic designer living in New York City.

I focus on visual communication and storytelling using typography, illustration, and motion graphics. As a graduate of SVA, I also found my love of experimenting with different mediums, from production designing music videos to cel animating alphabets. In 2014, I moved from Handan to South Carolina as a high school exchange student. Studying abroad in a western country amplified my awareness of my Chinese roots and greatly impacted how I approach my current work.

In 2010, I moved from Handan to South Carolina as a high school exchange student. Studying abroad in a western country amplified my awareness of my Chinese roots and greatly impacted how I approach my current work.

Museum of Vision

Instructor—Natasha Jen
Brand Identity, 2020

Brand identity for the Museum of Vision. MOV is inspired by the book The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The Little Prince exposes the ignorance that accompanies an incomplete and narrow-minded perspective. All the intolerant characters are seeing the world through a Kaleidoscope.

Perspective changes how we see the truths. The museum of vision is a contemporary art museum that celebrates innovative artists and artwork that keeps breaking viewers’ perspectives on art.
